Corcovado and
South Pacific
Corcovado National Park is located in the South Pacific on the Osa Peninsula. It has the greatest biodiversity of species in Costa Rica, reason why visitors are attracted by its beauty with its tropical forests and beautiful uninhabited beaches.
It is home to many species of animals which are rare in other parts of the country such as anteaters, tapirs, deer, felines, spider monkeys, capuchin monkeys and an abundant variety of animals that consider this wonder of nature their home. There are several ways to enter this zone.
Other attractions in this area are visiting Caño Island and snorkeling or diving, a boat (ride) navigates through the mangroves of Sierpe Térraba, a boat trip in search of whales (mainly (in the months of) between August and September).
