It is located at the Nicoya Peninsula to the southern part of Guanacaste, in the Province of Puntarenas, on the Pacific Coast. It is a place with beautiful white sand beaches, famous for surfing, visited mostly by young tourists, many retreats to practice yoga, walking miles to see one beach after another.

Horseback riding or quad bike rides, boat ride to Tortuga Island, bathing in the Montezuma Waterfalls, visiting and walking at Cabo Blanco Reserve, among others.

To get to this area coming from the Central Valley, Arenal, Monteverde, Central or South Pacific you must board the Tambor Ferry from the port of Puntarenas going to Paquera. You can buy tickets online to make a reservation on the Ferry.
