Tenorio Volcano
and Río Celeste

The Tenorio Volcano National Park is located in the Guanacaste Volcanic Mountain System,  2 hours by car from the Arenal Volcano. This has a 5 kilometer long path of medium difficulty where you can see the famous Rio Celeste, its waters full of minerals that come down from the highest lands and which reflect a turquoise blue color, with spectacular settings such as the waterfall, La Laguna Azul, and Los Teñideros. An unforgettable experience.

On its slopes the picturesque town of Bijagua is located, a small place to stay offering some basic services such as supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries, among others.

Other activities in the area are nature walks at night, go down the rapids of the Celeste River in inflatables (White water tubing), suspension bridges, Chocolate Tour.
